I have been currently asked to be part of the Blogger Project by Tees by Tina and I couldn’t be more thrilled! They asked to me to style a Tees by Tina textured pencil skirt and, of course, I was up for the challenge. I decided to pick a tangerine skirt- I LOVE orange and it is the color of the season- and pair with a classic white button down Gap shirt wear my favorite Steve Madden platform heels (the Daade in black suede). My everyday black leather clutch by Ecco and Tortoise Blonde sunglasses, fit right in too. Now, tell me, how would you style your Tees by Tina skirt?
This week received this amahhhhzing look book by The 2 Bandits and it has inspired me to go out west and dress like the model in the look book. I love the turquoise colors, raw denim in different washes, the nature background, and the abstract location. There’s nothing better to feel surround by nature. Loving the collection the creative direction gets an A+.
Ever since I met the founders of Material Wrld, Rie Yano and Jie Zheng, I have fell in love with them and their new concept for an e-commerce site that involves online influentials. They asked me to be a part of the fun and I am currently featured on their home page showcasing my favorite accessories which includes Steve Madden platform shoes, cat eye sunnies from C. Wonder, a floppy black and white hat, and of course, a MAJOR #armparty. The site allows people to show their favorite influencers closets so check it out and enter their Sizzling Sumer Style Contest!
One of my favorite brands and my favorite organizations joined forces to launch a limited edition collection of bags to be sold exclusively at Holt Renfrew in Canada. The bags are $50 each and proceeds from the sales of each bag will help raise $100,000 for the FEED Foundation and the Tory Burch Foundation. To purchase a bag click here.
One of my favorite fashion designers Rachel Roy and one of my favorite Brazilian singers Seu Jorge united to create a line of clothes to be sold exclusively at Macy’s and online. Rachel, who I had the pleasure to meet at the Urban Zen Holiday FEED-raiser last year, and Seu Jorge, a singer who I have been listening to ever since he came out with the Life Aquatic soundtrack, were both present at the Macy’s event last evening. Seu Jorge performed live while models showcased outfits from the collection. My favorite piece from the collection were a pair of navy booties (above). To top it off I got to talk to Seu Jorge in portuguese and he is just as amahhhhzing as I expected.
The Cynthia Rowley‘s resort 2013 collection has tons of prints and color with touches edgy details. My favorites are #1, #5, #6, #9, #11, #16, #18, and #21!
Lindsay is back! Not only she looks amahhhhzing in that Cynthia Rowley wetsuit but she’s back to acting, this time a short film called First Point that will debut at the Art Basel fair. This suit makes me reminisce my surf days back in high school and when I took surfing lessons in Maui, Hawaii. I’m seriously thinking about surfing again just so I can wear this wetsuit…
From Karl Lagerfeld’s face on macaroons to eyeshadow palettes shaped in Karl’s silhouette, it was a Karl explosion last evening at the designer’s New York pop-up on Bleecker street. As soon as I caught up with Leigh from @TheMisshapes and checked out the collection of Karl tees (my favorites are above) I hung out with bloggers such as @Williamyan. Overall, such a great KL fete filled with bubbly and leather.
