Pete Cashmore, Founder & CEO of Mashable, speaking at a panel. He stated that the future “will be all about explicit content and filtering the world.”

One of the official sponsors of #IWNY, Revlon, their booth provided makeovers and had a photo booth.

David Karp, CEO of Tumblr, was one of the keynote panelists. One of the main topics from the talk included Tumblr’s newly launched ‘Storyboard,’ which highlights creative tumblr pages.

Obsession: Crystal Renn in VOGUE Mexico

Crystal Renn has been one of my favorite models not just because of her beauty but also because of her personal strength. Not only she has proven that a curvy woman can be the model for a high end brand such as Dolce & Gabbana but she also wrote a book, “Hungry: A Young Model’s Story of Appetite, Ambition, and The Ultimate Embrace of Curves.” Above, the photos show Renn with a healthy weight and looking gorgeous in a fashion story for the May issue of VOGUE Mexico.

Cinemagraphs founders Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg of From Me To You created this awesome gif featuring Alice + Olivia‘s designer Stacey Bendet. The collaboration celebrates the launch of MAGNUM Mini Bars for which Bendet will design a limited edition mini skirt to be unveiled during her Spring 13′ presentation at NYFW.

I’m a big fan of MAGNUM and to celebrate the gorgeous weather in NYC there’s nothing better than treating yourself to a MAGNUM white ice cream bar!

Mother’s Day is approaching and the Accessories Council showcased amahhhhzing gift options yesterday during their Mother’s Day Expo. My top 5 gift options are above, but there were an array of other great gift options by designers such as Botkier, Isharya, Roman Sunstone, Carla Marina, among others. It was also a pleasure bumping into one of my favorite bloggers and buddy, Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge, and I got to meet Jordan of Ramshackle Glam.

Obsession: Tattoo Sleeves

These sleeves were given out at SXSW and apparently everyone was wearing them there. I decided to try them on today and am digging this look. Check out the fashion editorial above, how sick does that look? I think it makes a statement and makes people wonder if you really have that many tattoos or not… so much for the imagination.

Obsession: Stuart Weitzman Shoes

This week my obsession with shoes had a resurrection after I attended the Stuart Weitzman event hosted by Leandra Medine. As I arrived to the party, which was DJ’d by Solange Knowles, I spotted the famous ‘Capsize’ shoes in the blush color on Leandra’s feet and was instantly in love. I tried them on in my size and instantly my feet looked so sexy (hein, toe cleavage!). Yes, I gave in and bought them (check out Leandra’s ‘thumps up’ above). I chose the blush colored ones but they come in mint green and black as well. Check them out here.

Happenings: Earnest Sewn Fall 2012 Preview

One of my favorite stores in the Meatpacking District, Earnest Sewn, hosted their press preview with live music from The Beard, cocktails, and food provided by Dos Caminos. It was the perfect setting for a mini concert as the sun set and rays reflected through the store (see photo above). The denim for Fall come in different colors including bright yellow, tangerine orange, acqua blue, dark blue, as well as acid wash and tie-dye. One of my favorite pairs from the collection was the “TRON” jeans in white with black stitching. I also liked a pair of black skinny jeans covered in black sequins, which created a cool texture.

At the event I spotted some of my favorite bloggers: Natalie Suarez, Claire Geist, Christina Caradona, and FrouFrouu.

The Rachel Zoe’s Spring look book’s theme is “Natural Wonder” and it is simply AMAHHHHZING. I can’t get over the beautiful long dresses and the sequined jacket– I especially love the three looks above. To top it off, the whole look book was shot by Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg of From Me To You.
